Pave Your Lane

Running through America to empower people to find and follow their passions

Katie Visco: Adventure Runner, Speaker and Writer

Katie visits local schools, teams, and other groups across America to speak on the importance of living a bold and passion-driven life.

“Katie touched our students' lives, inspired them to take leaps of faith, and got them to think for just a second: ‘Hey, I could do something like that.’”

-Kathy Coe, Dean of Students, St. Stephen’s Episcopal School, Austin, TX

About Pave Your Lane

Pave Your Lane is a campaign designed to empower people to find their passion, create a plan to embrace it, and "run" towards it fully.

In 2009, Pave Your Lane’s Founder, Katie Visco, ran solo across America, from Boston to San Diego to spread this campaign.  Visco became the 2nd youngest and 13th woman overall to run the 3,132 miles coast to coast.

As of October 2011, Katie began her 50 States Series by running across Vermont and Massachusetts.  She plans to eventually run across all 50 states, stopping to speak en route to inspire youth to endeavor in their dreams and passions.  She is also writing a book along the way.  Stay tuned!

(Story takes place on Thursday, October 27, 2011, Day 2 of running across Vermont.)

“Today is going to be one of those days that feels like it is morning all day long,” Ian, my running partner for this run across Vermont, says to me as we stride east out of Richmond, VT.  I know exactly what he means.  Each and every morning we are gifted with such a miraculous new life - a day.  And today is going to be a series of fresh, new moments of birth – a day of mornings.  There is…
